unDavos Summit – Luma Terms & Data Use

Last updated: 15 December 2025

Short version: We use your data to run the event, stay in touch, and enable networking. We do not sell your data. We only share data with sponsors if you register for a sponsored session. You can unsubscribe or opt out of networking at any time.

1. Scope & Data Controller

By registering for any unDavos Summit event or program via Luma, you agree to these Terms & Data Use conditions.

Data Controller: Orcasci Ltd (United Kingdom)

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you register or participate:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Organisation and role
  • Event selections and attendance
  • Networking preferences
  • Optional profile information you choose to provide

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.

3. How We Use Your Data

Event administration
Registration confirmation, event logistics, access management
Communications from unDavos
Event updates, newsletter, invitations to future programs
Direct offers from unDavos
Tickets, memberships, delegations, and related services
Networking via Luma
Attendee discovery, curated introductions
Sponsored sessions
Where a session is sponsored, your registration data (name, organisation, role) may be shared with the sponsor of that session. By registering for a sponsored session, you consent to this sharing. Sponsors may contact you regarding their services. Sponsored sessions will be clearly identified at time of registration.

We do not sell personal data. We do not engage in third-party advertising.

4. Lawful Basis for Processing

  • Contractual necessity – to deliver events and services you register for
  • Consent – for communications, networking participation, and sponsor data sharing for sponsored sessions
  • Legitimate interest – for community continuity and event operations

5. Newsletter & Communications

By registering, you consent to receiving communications from unDavos. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Transactional messages (confirmations, essential updates) may still be sent.

6. Networking & Visibility (Give-to-Get)

Networking operates on a give-to-get basis: sharing your profile enables access to others. You may opt out at any time; opting out limits networking benefits. Some programs (e.g. investor circles, curated delegations) may require networking participation as a condition of entry.

7. Data Processing & Transfers

Luma acts as a data processor and operates under its own GDPR-compliant policies. Where applicable, data may be processed outside the EEA using standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for event delivery, community continuity, and legal obligations—typically no longer than 36 months unless required by law or renewed engagement.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, withdraw consent, request deletion, or object to processing. Contact: hello@undavos.com

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Changes & Governing Law

These terms may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email. Governed by applicable EU, Swiss, and UK data protection laws.
