Ben Haldeman

Ben Haldeman is the founder of LifeShip, a spacecraft engineer, and space investor bridging Earth’s regenerative wisdom with humanity's expansion into the cosmos. He was an early engineer at Planet where he led the design of telescope hardware deployed on hundreds of satellites imaging our planet every day. As a prolific investor, he has backed over a dozen companies through a thesis of human flourishing on Earth and beyond.

Today, as the founder of LifeShip, he leads a startup space society that already landed an archive of Earth; with DNA, seeds, art, and a knowledge archive, in a small pyramid on the Moon. With more upcoming space missions, he is on a mission to preserve our planet, steward the expansion of life beyond, and continue the human story.
