Cathy Allara Latiwa

Cathy Latiwa Allara is a jurist, gender expert, and development specialist with extensive experience in governance, resource mobilization, and partnerships within the European Union and United Nations. She is the founder of the Latiwa Development Foundation (LDF), operating across Africa and Europe to empower women and girls economically and co founder of the " BuildHerAFuture " project implemented in 4 Africans countries .

An internationally certified trainer, public speaker, and advocate for inclusion and sustainability, Cathy specializes in gender equality, female entrepreneurship, and conflict management. Fluent in multiple languages, she actively supports initiatives in climate change, renewable energy, and gender-based violence prevention.

Cathy holds leadership roles in notable organizations, including Makutano Business Network, Africa Women CEOs Network, and 100 Davos Women 2025, and serves on various advisory boards promoting diversity and empowerment.
