Celeste Tchetgen Vogel

Celeste Vogel is Co-founder and CEO of eWAKA Mobility Ltd, established in 2021 to advance sustainable transport in Africa. She brings over 20 years of legal and strategic experience from senior roles at SwissRe, ABB, and Credit Suisse. A graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (BA, Economics) and Northwestern University (JD), Celeste was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1994. At eWAKA, she champions electric bicycles and motorbikes to expand access, boost economic opportunities, and enhance last-mile logistics efficiency. Recognized in 2024 as one of the Most Influential Women in Mobility, she leads innovative efforts toward inclusive, net-zero growth.
