Erik Schäfer is Chairman of Green Investors AG, a renewable energy investment firm founded by his family office, dating back to 1988. He aims to make sustainable energy competitive and economically superior to fossil fuels, with a focus on clean molecules, electrons, and decarbonization technologies, especially hydrogen.
Erik is a proponent of cost-competitive Green Hydrogen 2.0 and Geological Hydrogen; he brings extensive experience from projects in the UAE, Oman, the Americas, and Europe. As the author of Hydrogen Horizons and an industry partner at the €500 million SENCO Hydrogen Capital Fund, he combines technical expertise with investment acumen.
