Fabiana Cavalcante

Fabiana Cavalcante is Global Head of Mobile e-Power at ABB, leading the electrification of heavy vehicles worldwide. She previously served as Section Chief for Approvals and Regulations at the Swiss Federal Office of Transport (2019-2021), where she shaped regulatory frameworks for rail electrification. Dr. Cavalcante spent over 15 years at ABB in roles including Head of Sales Switzerland for Railway Applications and Product Manager for traction converters for metros, electrical trains, and light rail vehicles. She holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETH Zurich and engineering degrees from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil.
