Imtiaz Hussain is a seasoned leader with over three decades of experience across investment banking, asset management, and wealth management, having worked at leading global institutions including Citibank, Barclays, and St. James’s Place. Throughout his career, he has successfully navigated complex market cycles, deploying capital across global markets and capital structures. He is the CEO of the UK-GCC Private Capital Alliance, a strategic platform uniting Private Equity firms, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Venture Capitalists, Family Offices, Global Institutional Investors, and high-growth businesses. Through decades of trusted relationships across the private capital landscape, he has been instrumental in fostering transformative partnerships and driving cross-border investments.

He is also Partner at Icon Asset Management, investing across public and private capital markets, oversees the capital formation and execution of strategic investments. His mandate spans public, private market transactions, and a range of alternative investment strategies—delivering durable value, resilient performance, and diversified growth for investors. Mr. Hussain also serves as Managing Director & Head of Middle East at Alexa Capital, a global corporate and investment bank specializing in the energy transition. In this capacity, he advises corporates, entrepreneurs, management teams, and investment funds on strategic alternatives, including M&A, capital raising, IPOs, recapitalizations, and divestitures.
