Nivruti Rai

Nivruti Rai is a technology executive and the Managing Director and CEO of Invest India, the national investment promotion agency for the Indian government. She spent nearly three decades at Intel Corporation, including seven years as Head of Intel India, leading initiatives in AI, 5G, and IoT, and holds five patents along with over ten published technical papers. Born in Gorakhpur, India, Rai earned degrees in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from the University of Lucknow, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University, and a board certification from Harvard Business School. Recognized with the Nari Shakti Puraskar and named among Business Today’s Most Powerful Women in Business, she also serves on the boards of Tata Technologies Ltd. and Biocon Biologics Ltd., bringing extensive expertise in technology and innovation to her role at Invest India.
