Tarig Ali Yousif Ahmed

Tarig is an economist with extensive experience in international development across the WTO, UNCTAD, and the African Union Commission. He currently serves as Senior Policy Officer at AIMEC, leading policy advocacy on inclusive markets in Africa. Previously, he was an International Trade Expert at the AUC, focusing on G20 and Financing for Development, and worked on trade facilitation and WTO accession processes. He holds a Master’s degree from Germany and a Bachelor’s degree from Sudan.
