Vedrana Spudic

Vedrana Spudic is Head of Technology for ABB's Process Industries Division, responsible for technology strategy and governance. She leads a global R&D organization focused on electrification, automation, and digitalization technologies for mining, materials processing, cement production, and battery manufacturing. Dr. Spudic has over 12 years at ABB, including roles as Technology Manager for Mining and Materials, R&D Manager, and Principal Scientist in the Corporate Research Center specializing in power conversion systems. She previously conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Zagreb on wind energy integration and optimal control of power grids. She holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
