Bettina Scheibe

Bettina is a deep-tech investor and former operator with 17 years of experience building and backing companies across deep tech, industrial tech, and enterprise AI. Having spent 7 years working internationally—including 6 years in China—she brings a rare, operator-level perspective on how technology businesses scale globally.

She is Managing Partner Germany at United Founders, a founder-driven pan-European operator VC, where she leads deep-tech investments. Previously, she helped build UnternehmerTUM’s Funding for Innovators as Investment Lead, sourcing and leading investments in 20+ deep-tech spin-outs from TUM. As COO & Global Director for Business Development of Cambridge Environmental Solutions, she scaled a British hardware business across 30 countries and relocated manufacturing from the UK to China. Today, she also researches China’s deep-tech ecosystem, offering first-hand insights into the competitive dynamics shaping Europe’s next generation of technology leaders.
