Steve Suarez is the CEO of HorizonX, a strategy & innovation firm focused on transforming businesses & future-proofing operations by harnessing emerging technologies.

A recognized leader in digital transformation and quantum strategy, Steve is a Board Director at Classiq and a Senior Advisor on Emerging Technology to McKinsey & Company.

His experience spans senior roles at Bain & Company, & QuSecure, and he previously served on the UK Board of QuEra Computing. He co-founded The Quantum Index, a global benchmarking initiative that ranks enterprise quantum readiness across industries.

Before founding HorizonX, Steve was Global Head of Innovation, Global Functions at HSBC.

At MIT,Steve is a guest lecturer in the Quantum Computing: Strategy & Impact course, where he equips executives with frameworks to achieve quantum readiness and capture first-mover advantage.

Steve holds an MBA and is an alumnus of both Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management Executive Ed.
